Of course, it’s quite hard to find a house with a thatched roof anywhere, including Korea. Textures have changed radically in the last 50 years in this rapidly changing part of Korea. These ceramic tiles were considered modern less than 30 years ago. People here still value their culture and customs, however. This old wall has been kept even though the buildings in this park are all modern designs. There’s even a football field made entirely of synthetic grass located no more than 6 metres from the spot where this shot was taken.
